Good morning everyone—

I woke up with a fire in me and decided to record a little podcast. I wanted to share my reflections on my twenty-sixth year as I just turned twenty-seven as well as the new shape this substack will be taking coming January. It’s a bit lengthy—

First 26 (lol) minutes: intro + reflecting on the last year as well as my thoughts on sharing as an artist on the internet

27-37:46: discussing the new format + goals for this platform! as promised in the audio, I’d break down the format textually for all my visual people—

week 1: Featured Artist interview

week 2: personal essay/poem/(me)

week 3: Piece by guest writer

week 4: monthly round up / diary replacing weekly entries

I believe in the importance of a Patron/Artist relationship, which is a relationship that has existed for as long as humans have been making art. Going into this new format, I hope to highlight and promote the living artists that inspire me as well as produce quality, intriguing content that may inspire you. So give it a thought :)
